El Medio

This was a 3,500 square foot remodel of Spanish style home in Pacific Palisades with new 1500 square foot accessory studio. This amazing one of a kind contemporary home was designed by David Hertz (SEA). The main house was designed with all of the amenities to promote a consistent environment for indoor/outdoor living. The open floor plan, skylights and windows created an abundance of natural light throughout the home.

Tramonto

This was a design build 2200 square foot spec house in the Palisades. We stripped it down to wood studs on the interior and reworked the entire home. This remodel included a new open floor plan, new Fleetwood windows and doors, a full custom kitchen and pantry with Ceaser stone counters, custom high gloss foil cabinets, a hidden flush linen closet, custom wine cellar, 6 operable skylights, distressed Beachwood floors, backlit onyx slabs at the kitchen island and entry, a custom lath and plaster fireplace with floating hearth, glass handrails and a Lutron lighting system.

The Green Project

Hollywood Hills

This was a 4500 square foot interior remodel from top to bottom including pool, hardscape, and landscaping. This home features traditional open beam ceilings, hardwood flooring, a custom antique fireplace mantel, and custom wood windows and doors. Additionally, it features handmade hard wood framed mirrors and cabinetry in bathrooms, and old world terra cotta tile with accenting. The entire interior received faux finishes and accents that replicates the intended old world Spanish feel. The exterior continues this feel with Spanish pergolas, a full BBQ, fire pit, and an infinity hillside pool with waterslide.

This was a 8,000 square foot traditional Tudor. The full remodel was designed by Richard Landry. This home features hardwood plank flooring and beautiful open beam wood ceilings with plenty of natural light throughout. Venice Canals Project

This was a new 4,000 square foot home right on the Venice Canal, designed by Steven Ehrlich. This project combines contemporary and industrial designs. The house was designed to combine warm contemporary living with a functional and sustainable work space. The house is three stories with a metal industrial stair case and mesh railings coming straight up through the center of the home. This house features radiant heat with finish concrete flooring, unique exposed wood truss ceilings, and sealed plywood wall finishes. Fleetwood windows and doors where installed throughout and a full raised lap pool was built. The backyard featured Treks decking, water features, and unique Zen inspired landscaping.

The Sherman Residence

This was one of our more unique projects, designed by Peter Tolkin. It is a 5800 square foot concrete contemporary home with a full guest house, pool, tennis court, custom dog run, and five-car detached garage, all nestled on approximately 3 acres. The house consists of solid board formed exposed concrete walls with 12-foot open beam wood ceilings. The ceilings seamlessly run from the interior space to the exterior overhanging eaves. Oversized Metal Window corp. windows and doors were used, providing more than adequate natural light throughout the entire home. Oversized limestone flooring was used throughout. The house features a large modern kitchen and beautiful artistic baths. This home was given an award by the concrete ready mix association for the overall finished quality of the concrete structure.

The Astral House

This was a very intricate new 6,000 square foot contemporary hillside home in the Hollywood hills designed by the late museum curator Brent Seville. This home features hardwood flooring, modern kitchens and baths, full glass entry, and a very unique walking bridge leading to its two-story artist tower. JLM Project

This was a new 13,000 square foot contemporary home up in the hills overlooking Los Angeles. The project was designed by Ted Tanaka. This home features exposed floating hardwood stair treads, stone flooring, oversized custom windows and doors, and a detached carport with a steel bridge to a full glass entry. The Bristol Project

This was a 10,000 square foot new Mediterranean home that sits on approximately one acre in Brentwood. The home was designed by Richard Berliner. The construction of this home used Eco-friendly “green” interior plaster products and building materials throughout. This home features black walnut floors, Tuscan kitchens and bath designs, tile roofing, and custom steel railings on the interior mezzanine, stairways, and exterior balconies. This home also features a custom pool, spa, and full sports court.

Mandeville Canyon

This home was a new 5,000 square foot hillside contemporary home, designed by Marshal Lewis AIA. He is one of the few architects that still produce drawings by hand. This home features exposed interior concrete pillars extending up from the concrete piles deep in the foundations all the way to the second story. It also features hardwood floors, a circular peninsula kitchen, custom skylight designs, metal roofing, and stainless steel fireplaces and fascia at the exterior.
